Privacy
Short version: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking. Everything on this site (fonts, scripts, styles) loads from julian.io itself, so nothing is sent to other companies while you read, apart from the hosting provider described below.
Who runs this site

Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web server, Netlify's servers see technical details of each request, such as your IP address, the page you opened, the time, and your browser type. That's needed to deliver the site and keep it safe from abuse. I don't use this data to identify or track visitors. You can read how Netlify handles it in Netlify's privacy statement.
If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply. I use Gmail, so Google stores those messages. I keep them only as long as I need them, and I'll delete them if you ask.
Stored in your browser
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key theme. It stays on your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
Links to other sites
Videos and demos in older articles are plain links, not embeds, so nothing from YouTube or CodeSandbox loads unless you open the link. Sites you open from here, such as GitHub, X, or YouTube, have their own privacy policies.
